The flexural rheometer for bitumen makes it possible to measure the flexural performance at low temperature of a bituminous binder.
These tests consist in applying a force on a sample immersed in a temperature-controlled bath in order to determine different rate of deformation depending on the temperature.
The system consists of a regulated low temperature bath, an easily removable bending unit to allow the installation of the sample, an external cold unit with temperature control and a calibration kit in its case.
The unit has a stainless steel frame and an integrated loading rod with a rounded loading tip.
The device includes molds conforming to ASTM / AASHTO standards as well as a complete calibration kit in its case.
